The Magazines I Can do That column is extremely popular. If youre a beginner, theres nothing better than discovering what you can do with a bit of knowledge and a simple set of tools (download our manual and tool list, here). If, on the other hand, you are an accomplished furniture builder, the projects are way too much fun because you just go with the flow and pound out piece after piece. Ive had a blast building many of these projects.

Although most columns focus on furniture, we did include a shop fixture in our April 2011 issue. Chris Schwarz, editor, was on a never-ending search for French woodworking and found the perfect engraving to depict the shop project. Its the ultimate I Can Do That project in that its easy to build while still a challenging project, and its as useful as all get out. We’ll keep you updated.
