New Dewalt 20V Max Brushless 3-Speed Impact Driver With 1,825 In-lbs Torque

Not only did Dewalt come out with a set of new 20V brushless

They also brought impacts per minute and rpms up as well. This model should perform well, and not because it was slower than the previous one. The new 3-speed model’s weight remains the same, but Dewalt has tightened the design a little and it is now 13 cm shorter front to back. Not a huge advancement in the compact department but will be greatly appreciated.

My thoughts are that I like where Dewalt is headed and the power tool industry is headed overall. Power tool manufacturers keep us on our toes with their power tools and give us more power every time we become comfortable with them. I also cant help but think that this is Dewalts answer to Milwaukees latest 2nd Gen M18 Fuel impact driver, also with over 1,800 in-lbs torque. I also appreciate that Dewalt made the DCF886 design, which was based on the DCF885, now with3 speeds. Dewalt’s first three-speed impact driver is not the DCF895; however, the DCF886 design was Dewalt’s first brushless 3 speed 20V impact driver. However, if I am correct, the DCF895’s single-handed chuck design wasn’t a huge hit with users.
